First installation of Leclanché LeBlock battery energy storage system goes live on Mediterranean island.

The microgrid storage solution was designed to maximize the consumption of energy generated by an on-site adjacent solar photovoltaic system.
 
This BESS installation consists of 1.2 MW / 2.6 MWh system including four Battery Blocks equipped with liquid-cooled battery racks, electrical and cooling system interconnections and an embedded fire detection/suppression system with automatic activation.
